Dear Blue Bridge Theatre Supporter,

By now it will likely be obvious to you that Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre will not be presenting its previously announced 2024 three play summer season. Having been particularly hard hit by both the Covid crisis and its aftermath, BBRT was forced to end its lease on its decade-long home – the Roxy Theatre – earlier this year. However, I am writing to you today to let you know that BBRT is not dead – far from it!

At its annual general meeting in March, I and nine other community minded individuals decided to step up and take on the leadership of this extraordinarily important Victoria based cultural institution and create a re-invigorated vision for it both in the short term and in the future. What does this mean for you?

Well, first off, it’s going to mean that any BBRT ticket holder, are going to have both first access and direct credit for the cost of your previous purchase to the exciting three play season that we are currently planning at various beautiful venues around our gorgeous city. We are working hard so that we can announce the details of these offerings and expect to be able to do this very soon. Secondly, it’s going to mean that there is a future for this multi-award-winning theatre that has a fifteen-year history of bringing you the best of the world’s ‘classic’ theatre and we want you to be a part of it.

Until then I would like to thank you personally for both your patience and support. News to follow!
See you at the theatre!

Brian
